What is a patient advocate?

An independent patient advocate works directlty for the client, never for the doctor, facility or insurance company. The client is our entire focus in helping navigate the complexities of the current health care system.

Why would I need a patient advocate?

Peace of mind for caregivers or clients, allowing them to focus on healing without the added stress of navigating the health care system.  

Does Crossroads Patient Advocacy bill insurance for its services?

Insurance does not cover advocacy services. Prepayments allow you to save on our services. Ask for details in your first appointment.

How much time should we allow for preparation, pick-up and drop-off for appointments?

 

Plan on 45 minutes prior to appointment time for transportation to local facilities. This may vary due to distance.
